in 1995, a voluntary developmental organization working for prevention
and rehabilitation, issues in stemming the spread of STD/STI and HIV
among children (both girls and boys)women, men, highly vulnerable
populations
and margin,alized community in Karnataka.

JAGRUTHI
exists to protect children and their
rights through a process of community education, motivation and action,
neutralizing
the influences that could deprive program participants of safe
childhood,
upholding their right to dignity and self-esteem and ensuring that they
will
not be subjected to any form of discrimination and be safeguarded from
all
forms of exploitation in the best traditions of transparency and
accountability.
